Café Beach Club

This is one of my favorite spots in Ocean City New Jersey.  In fact, sometimes I go to Ocean City (by car, or for an excuse to take a scooter ride)  just to dine there.  I use the word “dine”, rather than “eat”, because it gives you a comfortable taste of the Jersey Shore experience.

The Food

The food is really good and fresh.  One of my favorite selections is their smoked salmon, bagel & cream cheese platter on the breakfast menu.  I would rate the prices as moderate, not unreasonable.

Menus

La Ambiancé

This is where the restaurant shines.  You can eat:

• Indoors (but then it is like any ordinary restaurant)
• At a table with a window boardwalk, beach, and ocean views.
• On the sun shaded deck along the boardwalk, with the same view as above, but with the shore sounds and breeze added.

So nice weather, cold, hot, rainy, or snow; it doesn’t matter.  You can find the ideal spot.

The Service:

The service is consistently excellent.  The host seats you, a beverage waiter sees to that, monitoring your need for refills.  Your main waiter/waitress takes care of your meal, attentive that you always have what you need.
